IDANC Hip Hop Classes

Intermediate Class Series Feb-May

IDANC is offering 60 minute virtual hip hop classes on Sundays at 4:30pm EST!

This 10 week series starts on February 28th and runs until May 9th. Join our instructor Julika Cuffy and develop your hip hop fundamentals while staying safe at home. These classes are suitable for intermediate hip hop dancers. This series is open to ages 12-17, with at least 2+ years of previous experience with hip hop or industry choreography recommended.

 4/4 will be off for Easter weekend. All classes are hosted on Zoom. You will receive a link to join via email before each class.

About the instructor: 

Julika Cuffy, a Virginia native from Hampton Roads, has been dancing in the art of Hip Hop Freestyle and Choreography for 10 + years. Having trained under prestigious choreographers such as Luam Keflezgy (Rock the Industry), Candace Brown, Neil Schwartz, (Broadway Dance Center), Bo Park, and Kenichi Kasamatsu (Peridance Center). When not training she also has a passion for teaching and sharing her own movement through Hip Hop, Funk Style, and Street Styles through choreography. To name a few studios and community workshops, Music in Motion Dance Studio (VA Beach, Virginia), Denise Wall’s Dance Energy Studio (VA Beach, Virginia), Grace Upon Grace Dance Studio (Newport News, Virginia), Culture Shock DC Class (Washington D.C.), Capitol Movement Inc (Washington D.C.), and House of Movement (New York, NY).
 

Also, during her spare time, she has had opportunities to perform at the The John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center Urban Festival (Washington D.C.), dancing with teams and company’s as in CREWcial (VA Beach, Virginia), Culture Shock Dance Troupe DC (Washington D.C.), Capitol Movement Inc. (Washington D.C.) and a plethora of competitions and showcases to add on. Julika would expect that with learning from her you will feel inspired, passionate for dance, and motivated to dig into being the best version of an artist the student can be.
